Areas of Service
Goals
Diagnose and treat in accordance with the 3 stages of healing: moving, stretching, and strengthening.
- It is important to get the joints moving first. Muscles attach to the joints and move the joints. If the joints are not moving, the muscles
cannot work correctly.
- The next phase of healing is stretching the affected muscles and continuing to keep the joints moving.
- The strengthening phase in brought in after the other two steps are in place. This prevents re-injury to the area.
